The Shale Bedrock Series represents the heart and soul of our over 200 acre estate. This club will always include the wines that make Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard and Standing Stone Vineyards what they are at their very bedrock.
We select these bottles because they are the wines we make every year - that we pour our energy into as representations of our history and our future - a broad overview of our entire estate of vineyards. It is the perfect way to follow along with how vintage affects our region.
Every spring and fall, there will be a carefully curated 6 bottle selection sent to your doorstep or to a convenient UPS Access Point location where you can pick up. Each shipment includes detailed information on production techniques, aging potential, and pairing suggestions.
Your wine club will have 4 curated selections in it with 2 other suggestions that you can customize if you prefer to swap out for other wines - a total of 6 wines are required for each shipment.
The average cost per allotment is between $150 and $180.
Shipping costs are complimentary each allotment - at the time of shipment, you can add up to 6 bottles more for no additional shipping cost to fill a case of wine.
When you sign up for the Shale Bedrock series, with your first club shipment, you will become part of our Kabinett loyalty program - which includes benefits like 15% off all bottle purchases, 20% of case purchases, invitations to exclusive events at the winery - and more!
Spring shipments are sent in early May and Fall shipments are sent in early November.
The average cost per allotment will be between $150 and $180 - the value of the wine and shipping costs will surpass this (approximately $200+ per shipment).
